Thanks to all who joined last week especially to our partners group, also for all our "Mods" & "Members" who are welcoming our new members. Keep on inviting Internet users' in your areas to join us.
We are inviting our PIUS Graphic Artist's and designers to join our PIUS, Inc. LOGO & WEBSITE DESIGN CONTEST. Application form is now available for FREE. The contest is open to everyone, students and professionals are welcome to join. Exciting prizes awaits the winner which will be given during our September event. You can requst for the application form at; info@piusonline.org.
We are also calling on our "Artist's here to help us design and come up with good slogans based on our advocacy (Please refer to our purposes at "Home" page. Please help us design "Buttons" and "Banners" that we can put here in our site. It can be in English, Taglish, Cebuano, Ilocano, or in your own dialect. Samples like; "Internet Mo Toh Bantayan mo", "PIUS Ayos!", "Responsible Internet User Ako" etc, etc. Kindly email them to us and we will place them here in our site.
For those who intend to form PIUS, Inc. Chapters in your area, city, municipality or province the Chapter Information Pack is now ready and available for those interested (serious inquiries only please). Three (3) areas have already made indication of opening Chapters, we are very thankful and encourage for this show of support.

Thank you very much for joining and welcome to PIUS! This is your site as Interenet User and we encourage you to participate actively in our advocacy. Remember that; the "Internet is for Everyone". So lets make the most out of it. Please feel free to communicate with us on how we could better serve you.
Please be informed that you can now view all members and send messages to your PIUS Buddies. When you log in, just click your user name at the home page, then on the right hand side click browse members and you'll be redirected to the members page. The "Forums" is now available but we're limiting it to just three topics for now.
Let us also invite others to to join our growing community.

Is the Internet changing the human brainA Sunday Times article this weekend caught my attention. According to the authors of a new book iBrain - using the internet is changing the way the human brain works - people are becoming better at making snap decisions and filtering large amounts of information (which may be valuable in working in a complex, connected matrix organization) but at the cost of some social skills such as picking up facial expressions. People’s brains (on a relatively small sample) were found to be much more active when searching online rather than when reading a book. Things are beginning to take shape and we're asking you to continue praying for all the promotional, organizational and marketing matters. We congratulate our Cebu PIUS group and special mention to Sir Raymond for representing us in the Queen City; they are the fastest growing area. Surely a PIUS chapter in Cebu will soon be set-up, and we're encouraging you to go for it guys!
